The Infinix Zero series is the company flagship and the top of the end lineup. The most recent device to join this family is the Infinix Zero 3 that was officially launched in Kenya last week. Both these phones are good in their own ways but I have decided to a comparison of their main specifications and features to give you a clue as to which one is perfect for you.
The standard version of the Zero 3 comes with 4G LTE support while the standard version of the Zero 2 doesn’t. There is a variant of the Zero 2 that supports 4G.

From the above specs, you can see that the Infinix Zero 3 is a complete upgrade to the Zero 2.
Display and Design
Starting with the display, the Infinix Zero 3 has a 5.5 inch IPS display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. This is a slight upgrade from the Zero 2 that has a 5-inch Super AMOLED display 720 x 1280 pixels. Both displays are vibrant and bright.
As for the design, I prefer the design of the Zero 2 to that of the Zero 3. This is because the Zero 2 has a more premium touch to it while the Zero 3 feels a bit bulky and not very premium.
RAM and Memory
The Infinix Zero 3 has 3GB of RAM with 16GB of internal storage space. This can be expanded to up to 128GB using a microSD card. On the other part, the Zero 2 has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage space that can be expanded to 32GB.
CPU and OS
There is a 64 bit, 2GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6795 processor on the Infinix Zero 3 and a 2GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor on the Zero 2. The MT6795 is the most recent processor and so it offers superior performance to the one on the Zero 2.
As for the OS, the Infinix Zero 3 comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop while the Zero 2 comes with Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The Zero 2 is upgradable to Android Lollipop but am not sure if it will be getting Marshmallow. For the Zero 3, am pretty sure that it will be getting Android Marshmallow sometime this year.
Camera Specifications
The Infinix Zero 3 has a 20.7MP Sony camera at the back with dual LED flash. This camera is able to shoot 4K videos. At the front, it has a 5MP camera with flash. For the Zero 2, it comes with a 13MP main camera at the back capable of shooting Full HD videos with a 5MP camera at the front.
Battery
The Infinix Zero 2 has a 2300 mAh non removable battery while the Zero 3 has a 3030 mAh unit.
