Design and Display

Starting with the design and build, the Infinix Note 2 is slightly bigger and bulkier compared to the Hot Note. This is not necessarily a bad thing but the phone’s size can make it uncomfortable to carry around. As for the design itself, the Note 2 has a much better look and feel than the Hot Note. The Note 2 looks more modern and stands out more than the Hot Note.

As for the display, the Note 2 has a 6 inch display with a resolution of 720 X 1280 pixels. The Hot Note also has a display size of 5.5 inches with a resolution of 720 X 1280 pixels. Both these displays are bright and vibrant but the Note 2 is much better.

RAM and Memory

The Infinix Note 2 is available in either 1 or 2GB versions. The 2GB variants supports 4G LTE connections. For memory, it has 16GB of expandable storage space. The Hot Note on the other hand is available in only 1GB version with 16GB of storage space that can be expanded up to 32GB.

CPU and OS

The Infinix Note 2 comes with a 1.3 GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor. This is a small upgrade from the Hot Note that has a 1.4 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6592M processor.

For the OS, the Note 2 comes with Android 5.1 straight out of the box while the Hot Note comes with Android 4.4 KitKat. It is however upgradable to Android 5.1 Lollipop.

Camera Specs

At the back of the Infinix Note 2 sits a 13MP camera that is able to shoot Full HD videos. At the front is a 2MP camera. The Hot Note on the other hand comes with an 8MP camera at the back (capable of shooting Full HD videos) with a 2MP camera in front.  Between the two, the Note 2 has a more superior camera.

Battery

The Infinix Note 2 comes with a 4040 mAh battery which is slightly bigger than the 4000 mAh one on the Hot Note.
