Xiaomi has quite a number of devices on the market but the company is always looking for additional devices to introduce to expand its portfolio. The company specifically wants to expand the Redmi series with the introduction of the Redmi Note 2 Pro before the end of the year.
The Redmi Note 2 Pro will join the Redmi Note 2 and Note 2 Prime that Xiaomi unveiled back in August. Xiaomi has not said much about the Redmi Note 2 Pro but industry experts expect the company to unveil this device before the holiday season ends to capitalize on holiday spending. The company will also be launching two devices, Mi 5 flagship and Mi Pad 2, during this time.
Back to the Redmi Note 2 Pro, it will come with a 5.5 inch display. The resolution or pixel density of this display is still unknown. Powering this device is a 2.0 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage space.
The Redmi Note 2 Pro will have a metallic back cover that gives it a premium touch. It also has a fingerprint sensor at the back for extra security. Above the fingerprint sensor is a 13MP camera that is something everyone expects from a mid-range smartphone. In front the phone has a 5MP camera perfect for selfies and video calls.
We don’t know much about this phone at this moment but we will keep you informed as we get more information.
