A few weeks ago, Microsoft announced its first Windows 10 smartphones, the Lumia 950, Lumia 950XL and Lumia 550. So much attention was focused on the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950XL as these are the first flagship smartphones running Windows 10. The Lumia 550 is more an entry level device that will not be available in retail stores till later in the year so it did not attract much attention.
As these two have already been announced, Microsoft is believed to be working on its fourth Windows 10 device. This will be the Lumia 650 which is more of a mid-range device as the three that have been announced do not cater for this market segment.
The device is currently under the codename Lumia “Saana” and has the time on the screen showcased as 6:50. If you have seen any Lumia model before, then you know that the time showcased on the screen usually represents the model of the device.
Check out the render below.
Unfortunately, we only have the render and nothing else. All we know is that it will be running Windows 10 when launched. As for the launch date, it will probably hit retail stores the same time when the Lumia 550 does. It will also probably have a 5 inch or 5.2 inch display given the fact that the Lumia 550 has a 4.7 inch display.
Keep it here to be informed when the phone is officially launched.
