Tecno Mobile Gives Back To Society As It Helps Raise over Ksh 350,000 for a Children’s Home

Recently, Tecno Mobile had a cocktail party to introduce its new smartphone, the Phantom 5. The main aim for this event was to show appreciation to its customers and business partners. This was not the only thing Tecno was aiming at with this party as the company wanted to do some CSR also.

“We did not forget about the less fortunate during this event and so we had an activation for Arise Children’s Home. We had our guests donate any amount of money and we would give them a selfie stick as a gift of gratitude. In addition, TECNO vowed whatever the amount to Double Final Figure was Donated by the Guests. We successfully raised 356,680 to the Children’s Home,” Tecno said in a statement.

Arise Child Development Organization

Arise Child Development Organization is a nonprofit and non- governmental organization that operates in the Ngando slums of Dagoretti, Nairobi and aims at upbringing an orphaned and or a vulnerable child and a youth into independent, responsible and well virtue person. The organization is currently running programs that host 120 children who are orphaned, from poor background, neglected, abused and abandoned. Age 3yrs – 18yrs.

The Tecno Phantom 5 is the company’s latest flagship device that comes with some premium specs that can get anyone excited. It has a 5.5 inch IPS display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It is powered by a 64 Bit Octa-core 1.3 GHz processor combined with 3GB of RAM. At the back, it has a 13MP camera with dual LED flash with an 8MP camera with soft flash in front.
