In case you still do not know, Android 6.0 Marshmallow is already out as Google officially introduced it when it announced the new Nexus devices late last month. We now are expecting to see manufacturers push this latest update to their devices in the coming weeks. The update is already being pushed to the Nexus devices and some Android One devices.
As other manufacturers still prepare to push this update to their devices, LG is on the final stages of introducing it to the LG G4. LG announced this through a press release it sent out yesterday. This will be the first major flagship device that will be getting the latest Android build.
The update will be rolling out to those using the LG G4 in Poland before other markets following soon thereafter.
“By working closely with Google, LG has been able to bring Android 6.0 to the G4 ahead of any of our competitors,” said Chris Yie, vice president and head of marketing communications for LG Mobile Communications Company. “While speed alone isn’t an indicator of great service, it does go a long way toward giving consumers the confidence that LG is committed to its existing customers first.”
We are now waiting to see which other manufacturer joins LG.
