Oppo is about to unveil its new smartphone, the Oppo R7s, that we have been hearing about for a while. Oppo has confirmed that this smartphone will be unveiled at this year’s Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX), to be held later this month from 18 to 22 in Dubai.
Through a press statement, the company said, “The R7s will offer consumers a bigger battery, a larger screen and double the storage space of the R7, all the while boasting the full-metal unibody and stellar photo-taking capabilities of its predecessor.”
We know very little in terms of specs about the Oppo R7s. Still the specs we have seen so far show us that this will be an interesting phone, something we have come to expect from Oppo.
The Oppo R7s will have a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display and will be powered by a 1.5GHz Snapdragon 615 processor. It will have 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage space.
At the back of the Oppo R7s will be a 13MP camera with an 8MP front facing camera. The phone will roll out with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box.
