Google May Finally Bring Some of Its Most Popular Apps Including YouTube to Windows 10 Mobile

If you have used or are using Windows Phone right now, then you know that some of Google’s most popular apps are missing from the platform. This means that you do not have access to official apps such as Gmail that you can easily get in all the other platforms. This has been very frustrating for most people, especially those moving from Android to Windows Phone.

This may all change very soon as we are getting information that Google has plans to bring some of its apps officially to Windows 10 Mobile. Some of the apps that will be heading to the Windows Store include YouTube, Hangouts, Google Voice and Google Play Music. Of course there are other popular Google apps including Gmail that will be introduced probably later.

Microsoft has been working hard to see Android manufacturers such as Samsung and Sony include some of its popular productivity apps on their devices straight out of the box and probably Google does not want to be left behind in returning the favor.

Introducing Google apps to the Windows platform is a good thing and comes at the perfect time when Microsoft is about to launch its new Lumia smartphones later today.
