Xiaomi Expects To Sell 10 Million Units of the Redmi Note 2 This Year

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is one of the new devices announced by the Chinese manufacturer recently. The Redmi Note 2 is a really impressive device and its sales figures can back that up. The company recently revealed that it has sold over 1.5 Million units of this phone in just its first month. This is very impressive considering that Xiaomi is still available in very few areas.

Xiaomi has now revealed that it expects to sell over 10 Million units of the Redmi Note 2 by the end of the year. This was revealed by the Company’s founder and CEO Ley Jun. He also revealed that at this point, the company is on its way to reach this target.

He went further ahead to reveal that Xiaomi is now able to control its costs much better than before. Initially, the company had to invest a lot of money in buying equipment to ensure that its products are of high quality. Since they do not need to do so right now, they can bring their production costs down slightly which is something they have already done and will continue doing.

Will Xiaomi manage to sell 10 Million units? Probably yes, the company has priced its phones well and they are on demand even in markets they are not officially available so reaching 10 Million units in sales is achievable.
