A few hours ago, Google officially unveiled the Nexus 6P smartphone to the world. The Nexus 6P is made by Huawei and has the same specs as we have been seeing so far in the leaks.
The Nexus 6P is a superior smartphone as you will see from the specs I will list down. To start with, it has a 5.7 inch WQHD display that settles well with the full metal body making up the frame of the phone, this frame is made of aluminum.
The Nexus 6P is powered by a 2.0 GHz Octa Core Processor from Qualcomm coupled with 3GB of RAM. It will be available in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB sizes.
At the back of the Nexus 6P is a 12.3MP from Sony with a 5MP camera on the front. The 12.3MP camera at the back is able to shoot 4K videos. Google has confirmed that both these cameras are optimized for indoor photography and will have laser-detect autofocus.
Just like the Nexus 5X, the Nexus 6P will come with a fingerprint scanner and USB Type-C that supports quick charging.
The phone will come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and will retail at $499 (approximately Ksh 53,000). It will be available in Frost White, Aluminium, and Graphite colors.
