Want More Replays Per Day On Your Snaps On Snapchat? If So, You Will Have To Pay For That

Snapchat flashy features

If you are on snapchat, then you know that there is a limit on the number of replays per day you can have on your snaps. At the moment, you can only replay one snap per day before it disappears. Of course this is Snapchat’s main business model but some people want more replays for one reason or another.

A few days ago, Snapchat listened to those who were not happy with the replay limit and implemented new changes on its service. From now on, users can get more replays as long as they are willing to pay for it. The service is currently available to users in the United States for the cost of $0.99 for three more replays per day.

This is Snapchat’s in-app purchase implementation as the company tries to make some money out of its ever growing popularity.

In a statement, the company said, “We’ve provided one Replay per Snapchatter per day, sometimes frustrating the millions of Snapchatters who receive many daily Snaps deserving of a Replay. But then we realized – a Replay is like a compliment! So why stop at just one?”

No Ads But Money Has To Be Made!

Snapchat has been keen to remain ad-free and that is why it is introducing this new revenue model. The company also realizes that $0.99 is not cheap for just three replays but said that this is worth it. “They’re a little pricey – but time is money!” Snapchat said.

Will this help Snapchat make money? Will people be willing to pay for it? Only time will tell how successful or unsuccessful Snapchat will be with this strategy.
