Microsoft has been preparing to roll out Windows 10 and Windows 10 mobile to end users for some time now. We already know now that the company is planning to unveil Windows 10 later this month (July 29). Microsoft has already confirmed this but the company has not revealed when Windows 10 mobile will be unveiled but tumors are that it will be some time in September.

For those Windows fans who have been worrying about the platform, Microsoft has come out strong to assure you that it is committed to the platform. In an interview, Microsoft’s CEO Satya Nadella said that the company will take up the manufacturing of Windows phone devices if other OEMs do not come on board.
He is quoted saying,
If no OEM stands up to build Windows devices we’ll build them. There will be Lumia devices. So I’m not afraid of saying, okay, it’s all about the OEMs, or it’s all about the ecosystem. It’s about Windows. It is about the overall health of Windows and being grounded in any given day’s reality, but having ambition of where the market is going versus being bound by current definitions.
Microsoft has been struggling to get OEMs into the windows phone ecosystem ever since the company acquired Nokia mobile phone division. It’s only last month that we saw the first Windows phone devices not made by Microsoft.

Microsoft will have to do more than just talk, the company has to show how committed it is to the platform as it unveils Windows 10 later in the year.
