Apple Will Release iOS 8.4 To the Public on June 30

Yesterday at WWDC, Apple announced a number of things but the next version of iOS is what stole the show for me. iOS 8.4 is still in beta mode but Apple has announced that it will be available to the public as from June 30. This is the same time Apple music will be released meaning that it will come bundled with iOS 8.4.

Just a point to note, Apple Music will only be free to users for the first three months. After that, you will be required to pay $9.99 per month (pocket change for anyone who can afford an iPhone).

iOS 8.4 will bring a number of new features to iPhone and iPad users.

As we wait for iOS 8.4 to be available to the public later this month, Apple released iOS 9 Public Beta 1. This is not the complete OS as it is still under development so it is not advisable to download it if playing around with a new OS is not something fun for you.

For you to get iOS 9 beta 1 for developers, you will need to be enrolled in Apple’s Developer Program. iOS 9 beta 1 can be downloaded for those running iPhone 4s and above, iPad Air and above, iPad mini and above, iPad 2 and above or iPod touch 5th-gen.

If you do not have a developer account, you will be able to access iSO 0 beta version as from next month or later.
