Huawei is one of the biggest Smartphone makers currently trying to fight off the likes of Samsung, LG and the others for the top spot. With competition getting tougher, these manufacturers are looking for ways to come up with unique products that will get the market talking. Just last month, the company introduced the Huawei P8 with a unibody design.

With the Huawei P8 out there, the company is now working on its next phablet, the Huawei Mate 8. The Mate 8 will be taking over from the Huawei Ascend Mate 7 that been around since September last year. This will be the first phablet for Huawei since it dropped the ‘Ascend’ name from its devices.
Huawei has managed to keep this device under wraps with nothing much about them leaking until now. The leaked spec list just shows how powerful the Huawei Mate 8 will be compared to the Ascend Mate 7.
Starting with the screen, the Mate 8 will have 6 Inch display with a QHD resolution (2560×1440 Pixels). Under the hood, the Mate 8 will have a 64-bit Kirin 930 chipset with an octa-core CPU. The Mate 8 will have a massive 20.7MP rear camera that will use the Sony IMX220 sensor making sure you get good quality photos.
The Mate 8 will also have a fingerprint scanner and will support 4G LTE Cat.6 (300Mbps).
